Shoyu ramen
Japanese: しょうゆラーメン, 醤油ラーメン
Soup
“Shoyu” means soy sauce.
Dashi (=broth), which is made by boiling seafood, chicken bones, and vegetables, is added to soy sauce to make soup.
The soup is clear brown.
Toppings
Typical toppings are char siu(=roast pork), menma(=seasoned bamboo shoots), nori(=dried seaweed), boiled egg, and green onion.
The stereotypical ramen that is depicted in manga and anime usually has naruto on it.
Naruto is a type of kamaboko. Kamaboko is a food made by heating and solidifying minced fish.
Of course, the name Naruto comes from naruto.
